Blanchester Wildcats FAVC Champions for 31 years.
The Fort Ancient Valley Conference known as FAVC was created Tuesday April
28th 1964 . The conference was composed of 7 schools, which included Springboro,
Kings Mills, Little Miami, Mason, Waynesville, Blanchester and Clinton Massie.

Blanchester vs. Clermont North Eastern
It was an away game, last game of the season the Wildcats were 9-0. It was a close
game and everyone sat on the edge of their seats,Wildcats won 14-6. We were
there like we were all of the other games that season, to watch our cousin Jimmy
White number 77 play football. We were just little kids back then and Jimmy was
like an idol to us. My Mom wearing her butterfly ear rings for luck, she wore
them to every game and swore thats why they won.. The Wildcats were coming
off the best season ever. I remember being rushed to the car after the game
because something big was about to happen. A caravan of cars followed each
other from Clermont North Eastern home, beeping horns, cheering. Everyone
came into town and waited on the streets for the buses. As the players rode into
town they had a police escort. The band marched through town playing the
Wildcat victory song as the football team followed in the buses.Dozens of fans
cheered as they drove by. We stood right in the middle of town, it was something
, as a kid, I will never forget. The town was very proud of their Wildcats. But
that wasn't all, after the parade we followed the team to the football field where
they got out of the buses and rang the victory bell.... What a night it was...
